Confidentiality Agreement & General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Adornment Therapy respects your right to privacy and keeps your personal information confidential and secure. Your information would only be made available to your GP and/or other medical or complementary health professional with your consent.
Individual Client Consultation forms are Adornment Therapy's record to ensure our personalised treatments do not cause any contraindications with medications or health conditions you have prior to us recommending particular products. A summary of products suitable for you would be sent to your home or email address. The envelope/ email would be marked "for addressee only".
It is your right to know what information we hold about you. This is available to you by written request. You have the right to let us know that you no longer wish to be contacted by us and we will ensure that all personal data we have that is no longer required by us for legal compliance will be deleted.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
From 25th May 2018 this EU wide law ensures you have the right to know what data, companies such as ours have about you. As a customer you have the right to request all data we have about you and also the right to request we delete all information we have about you. In order to conduct our bespoke service to you Adornment Therapy only collects data to:
- Provide products and services to our customers.
- To check and confirm data when orders are placed and destinations of deliveries.
- We use your data to contact you if necessary about your order.
- Our bespoke service requires your data, to prevent contraindications for aromatherapy treatment and for insurance purposes. As a full member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA) your data has to be securely stored by us for 7 years (25 years for treatment during pregnancy).
Adornment Therapy do not share the data of our customers with any other companies or individuals except at the customer's written request.
